Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. Who is responsible

BizReady, 62 3rd Ave, Linbro Park, Sandton 2090, Gauteng, South Africa, is the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). To ask about your information, use our contact page or email seogjaej5@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account: your email address and password. The password is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form; we cannot read it.
  • Your business: the company details you enter (name, industry, province, number of employees, turnover band, B-BBEE level if you give it) and your answers and scores.
  • Documents and AI results: files you upload to the evidence vault, what the AI reads from them, and the action plans we generate for you.
  • Payment: whether your company has paid and the payment provider's reference. We do not receive or store your card or bank login details.
  • Emails: the messages we send you, whether you opted in to tips and reminders, and any unsubscribe request.
  • Where you came from: on your first visit we note the link or campaign that brought you (for example a UTM tag) so we can see which channels work. It is saved with your account when you sign up.
  • Technical: basic server logs (such as time and IP address) used for security and fixing faults, and a security check on sign-up and log-in forms.

3. Why we use it

  • To run your account and give you your score, plan, report and vault.
  • To take payment and give you access to the full report.
  • To send you account emails (such as confirming your address), and, only if you ticked the box when you signed up, tips and reminders about your score. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems, and to understand which marketing channels work.
  • To meet legal and accounting duties.

We do not sell your information and do not show advertising.

4. Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the service, who may use the information only for that purpose:

  • Supabase - database, sign-in and file storage.
  • Vercel - hosting of the website and our server functions.
  • Google (Gemini) - when you use a feature that reads your documents or builds an action plan, the document text or your answers are sent to Google's AI service to produce the result.
  • Resend - sending our emails.
  • PayFast (Network International) - payment processing.
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile) - a security check on the sign-up and log-in forms.

Some of these providers keep data on servers outside South Africa; we use providers that protect data to a standard comparable to POPIA. If you tap a share button (WhatsApp or LinkedIn), your device opens that service; we do not send them your information. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account, answers and documents while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and the information linked to it; records we must keep by law (for example payment records) are kept only for that purpose and for as long as the law requires.

6. Your rights

You may ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store passwords only as hashes, keep uploaded documents in private storage and limit who can access the data. No system is perfectly secure; if there is a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as the law requires.

8. Browser storage

The website keeps your sign-in session and the first-visit source mentioned above in your browser's storage so you stay signed in and we can see which channels work. It does not use advertising cookies. Logging out removes your session.

9. Children

The service is not meant for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
